Run CSUBASOE for Your Campus

This job aid shows Benefits Officers how to run CSUBASOE for their own campus.

Background

  • CSUBASOE is the CSU Benefits Administration job processes benefits enrollment changes during the Open Enrollment period.
  • CSUBASOE runs nightly for all campuses during the open enrollment period.
  • You can run CSUBASOE for your campus separately if, for example, you need to finalize Open Enrollments after the CSUBASOE jobs stopped running nightly.

Run CSUBASOE for your campus

Step 1: Open the Navbar button.

Step 2: Navigate to Menu> Benefits > Manage Automated Enrollment > Events > Run Automated Event Processing

Step 3: Search for your Run Control ID. If you do not have a Run Control ID, click Add New to create one.

Step 4: Enter the applicable OE schedule in the Schedule ID field.

Step 5: Click the Participant Lists tab.

Step 6: Confirm that nothing on this page is selected.

Process Form Participant List check box is unchecked.

Step 7: Click the OE/Snapshot tab.

Step 8: Confirm that only the None option is selected in the Reprocess section.

The None option is selected. All other options are cleared.

Step 9: Click Run.

Step 10: Check the check box for the BASOE-T process. Confirm all other check boxes are cleared.

Step 11: Click OK.

Step 12: Open Process Monitor.

Step 13: Click the BASOE-T link.

Step 14: Click Refresh until all processes have run to Success.

Step 15: Review all the job logs to see what finalized, who received permitting event codes and to see if there were any processing issues to review and resolve.
