Ben Admin Process Status Pivot Table

Overview

  • This job aid shows you how to use the Ben Admin Process Status Pivot Table.
  • The pivot table shows the current status of BAS events in a graphical chart format.
  • You can drill down into individual events to manage them.
  • You can use this report in lieu of the:
    • Report on Flagged Items
    • CSU Process Status Report

View the Pivot Status Table

Step 1: Navigate to the Pivot Status Table

  1. On the CSU Administrator Home page, open the CSU Benefits Administrator tile.
  2. Expand Ben Admin Processing Status.
  3. Open CSU BAS Schedule.

Be patient: The pivot table can take some time to display.

Navigation

Step 2: Examine the chart.

  • The chart shows all of the BAS Events that you have access to. If you work at multiple campuses, the chart includes BAS Events from both campuses.

Step 3: Optional: Limit the chart to one Process Schedule ID.

  1. Select the Schedule ID
  2. Click Search.

Use filter options

Use filter options to limit the chart to items of interest.

Step 1: Optional: Select Process Type to change the view:

  1. Select the Process Type
  2. Click Search

Process types:

  • Event Status
  • Flagged items
  • Process Status

Step 2: Optional: Select additional filters.

  1. Check the boxes to limit the chart to these filters
  2. Click More to see more options.

Drill down

Step 1: Click a chart element to drill down and open a table showing selected BAS Events.

Step 2: Click the Employee ID to open the BAS Event in On-Demand Event Maintenance so you can review and resolve the issue.

Download data

Step 1: Export filter data:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Export Filtered Data.

Step 2: Select the format.

Step 3: Click Done.

The file is downloaded to your browser's default download folder.
