This job aid shows benefits officers how to review information on the CSU SCO Inquiry page.
Background
The SCO (State Controller's Office) interface generates files that list changes to employee's
- Vision
- Dental
- Life AD&D (Accidental Death & Dismemberment)
- LTD (Long Term Disability)
The CSU SCO Interface page provides a quick way to reference employee benefits that were submitted to the SCO. The main benefit of this page is that it is easier to find information about a single employee than searching through the reports.

Review the CSU SCO Inquiry page
Step 1: From the CSU Administrator Home, click the CSU Benefits Administrator tile.
Step 2: Navigate to Interface with Providers > CSU SCO Interface Inquiry.
Step 3: Search for the employee
- Type the employee ID (Empl ID). You can expand Show more options to use other search criteria if needed.
- Click Search.
- If the search returns multiple employees, click one to select it. Otherwise, the CSU SCO Inquiry page opens.
Step 4: Review the information.
- Use the arrows to scroll through plan types. SCO plant types include 11, 14, 20, 23, and 31.
- Review the SCO Interface inclusion details.
