View Transactional Front End (TFE) Transaction Errors

This job aid shows administrators how to view transactional front-end job and position errors.

Review TFE errors

The TFE Review Errors page shows TFE requests for both jobs and positions that were submitted, but which could not be processed because of errors.

Step 1: On the Manager Self Service Homepage, click CSU Transactional Front End.

Step 2: Click CSU TFE Review Errors.

Step 3: Enter search criteria to find TFE transactions.

  • Trans Id
  • Requester
  • Empl ID
  • Empl Rcd
  • Name
  • Position Nbr
  • Effective Date
  • Deptid
  • JobCode
  • Action

Guideline: You can search without search criteria, but the search can take longer, depending on how many transactions need to be processed.

Step 4: Click Search.

Step 5: Click on a row to see more information about that error.

Step 6: Review the information about the error.

  • Clear Error Messages: Permanently deletes the error message.
  • Use your campus processes to resolve the errors.
