| General Information: | Used to reassign employee involuntarily due to a disciplinary issue or reorganization; not requested by employee. This Action is used to move an employee from one appointment, pay calendar or department to another, or when management reassigns an employee within a classification or sub-range based on the requirements of the position and an assessment of the employee's qualifications and skills. The reassignment may or may not affect a salary change. For represented employees, review "Reassignment" language in applicable MOU. Authorized salary increases must be in conformance with applicable CSU policies or MOU. Refer to Time and Labor documentation for mid pay period adjustments.
