Descrshort:SSI Denial
General Information:
  • Used only when an employee's SSI, MSI or SISA is denied because the employee has failed to meet the standard of performance required for the position.

  • When a SSI is denied, refer to the appropriate collective bargaining agreement regarding the establishment of a new Anniversary date.

  • Denial of a SSI, MSI or SISA is based on a review of the employee's past performance.

  • The SSI Denial can be posted prior to any scheduled mass update for SSI’s to avoid posting of the Pay Rate Change/Service Salary Increase.  If the Pay Rate Change/Service Salary Increase was posted, this action/reason must reset the employee’s Comp Rate and if appropriate Anniversary Code.
