Definition:	Used to move an eligible tenured faculty unit employee into the pre-retirement reduction in time base (PRTB) program.
General Information:	As campuses go live in CHRS, they are expected to use this consistently even if a process change is needed.
Business Rules:	Applies to Tenure Permanent Faculty only (tenured, no longer serving probationary period). Faculty unit employees requesting to participate in Pre-retirement Reduction in Time Base (PRTB) shall have been employed in the CSU for at least ten (10) years at full-time. The five (5) years immediately preceding the effective date of the PRTB shall have been continuous full-time employment.
Examples:	These are not mid-semester job changes; typically follows a change in Academic Year (AY) start date. Following this pre-retirement action, full retirement will be the next applicable action for these individuals.
