| General Information: | Used to extend an employee's scheduled return to payroll following an authorized full leave without pay including Military, Parental/Family Care and Medical. The employee was originally placed on full leave via any reason code under action LOA. Refer to DTA/EXC or DTA/EXT for extending an NDI leave and DTA/PLF, DTA/PLM or DTA/PLP if the employee is on a partial leave with pay. An employee must be reinstated before being placed on any other type of leave. For academic employees, the Effective Date is always the beginning of a pay period. If the employee is on a temporary appointment or temporary assignment, the Expected Return Date cannot extend beyond the Expiration Date of the temporary appointment or assignment. If the temporary appointment/assignment is extended irrespective of the employee's leave status then process:
-RFD/RFT effective with the date in Expected Return Date -REH/REH or DTA/EXT effective with the date in Appointment Expiration Date - Then, place back on Leave Without Pay. |
