General Information:
  • Permanent separation for an employee who voluntarily resigns, reason is 'Other' or 'Unknown'. Applies to a separation with or without notice.

  • An employee on a LWOP or NDI may be separated without a return to pay status.  However, if a general salary increase or other salary action became effective while the employee was off pay status, and the employee is entitled to lump sum vacation and/or extra hours at the higher rate, process a reinstatement.  The reinstatement and separation will have the same effective date.

  • An employee on IDL/TDL may be separated without a return to pay status.  Salary actions would be posted while the employee was off pay status.
