Overview
This job aid shows managers how to approve employee goals for ePerformance reviews and to complete the Goal Setting phase of the review cycle.
Before you start
Before you start, confirm that you have met with your employee to review and agree upon the goals.
Confirm goals and professional development
Step 1: On the Manager Self Service Homepage, click the Team Performance tile.

Step 2: Click Current Documents.

Step 3: Click the annual evaluation for the employee.

Step 4: Click Update and Approve.

Step 5: Review the goals on the Goals tab. Expand the goals to see the details.
Step 6: Click the Prof Development tab to review the Professional Development goals. Expand the goals to see the details.
Approve Goals and Complete the Goal Setting phase
Before proceeding, ensure that you and the employee have both agreed upon the goals and that this phase is ready to finalize.
Step 1: Click Approve.

Step 2: Click Confirm.

The Goal Setting phase now has a green circle with a white check mark to indicate that the phase is complete.

You can reopen the Goal Setting phase after you have approved and finalized it.
Before you reopen the Goal Setting phase, meet with your employee to discuss the changes.
Step 1: Click the expander to expand the Goal Setting phase.

Step 2: Click Reopen.

Step 3: Click Reopen

Step 4: Click Confirm

Step 5: Update goals as needed, see: Define Goals (Manager).
Step 6: Go to Approve Goals and Complete the Goal Setting phase.
