Enter NLT on Behalf of Employees

Overview

This job aid shows managers and timekeepers how to enter no leave taken (NLT) on behalf of employees who do not submit NLT for themselves.

Enter NLT for employees

Step 1: On the Manager Self Service Homepage, click the CSU Approve/Request NLT tile.

Step 2: Click CSU NLT Entry.

Step 3:

  1. Select your business unit.
  2. Enter search criteria.
    • MST Pay Bgn Dt: Begin date for employees on master pay calendar.
    • ACD Pay Bgn Dt: Begin date for employees on Academic pay calendar.
    • Dept ID
    • Manager ID
    • Unit
    • Employee ID
  3. Click Search.

Step 4: Review the employee NLT status and WF status for the employees.

Step 5: Select the employees to enter NLT for.

  • Optional: Click Select All to select all employees.

Step 6: Click Submit.

Step 7: Confirm the WF status.

  • For managers, the status is automatically Approved for their own employees.
  • For timekeepers,the status is Submitted for the manager’s approval.
