Timekeeper Absence Balance Inquiry
Overview
This job aid shows timekeepers how to view employee absence balances.
View employee absence balances
Step 1: Navigate to the Manager Balance Inquiry page.
- Click the Team Time tile
- Click Manager Balance Inquiry.
Alternate navigation: Menu > Manager Self Service > Time Management > CSU Time Keeper Balance Inquiry.
Step 1: Select the position you are acting as to approve absences.
Step 2: On the Timekeeper Balance Inquiry page, select the As Of Date.
Step 3: Select filter criteria:
- Bus Unit
- Employee
- Job Code
- Dept ID
- Pay Group
- Unit
- Union Code
- Eligibility Group
- Reports To
Guideline: If you run the search without filters, the search will take a long time. The filters reduce the search to a manageable number of returns.
Step 4: Click Refresh Employees.
Step 5: Select employees:
- Select individual employees.
- Select All.
- Click Select All to select all direct reports (at the bottom of the page).
Step 6: Click Continue.
Absence Balances are displayed.
Step 7: View Absence Balances.
- Review Sick, Vacation, and Personal Holiday balances.
- Optional: Click Details to view details for a single employee.
- Optional: Click the link to view the Graduated Vacation Chart.
Information: The Details link shows information about Vacation time, sick time, personal holiday, vacation SS, CTO, Holiday CTO and ADO.
Step 8: Click each tab to view:
- Compensatory Time balances
- Service Accrual balances
- PTO balances
- ETO balances
