This job aid shows CHRS Operations how to cancel a retro trigger.
Background
- Campuses submit a ServiceNow Ticket to have a Retro Trigger canceled when it is stuck in an "unprocessed" status and cannot be processed due to being visible only through query.
- You must cancel the calendar before you cancel a Retro Trigger. Cancel the calendar only after-hours.
- After you cancel the Retro Trigger you must reopen the calendar.
Cancel a Retro Trigger
Step 1: Open the Navbar button.

Step 2: Navigate to Menu > Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Prepare Payroll > Review Triggers
Step 3: Search for the employee. If the search returns more than one employee, click the row for the applicable employee.

- The Review Triggers page opens.
Step 4: Click the Retro tab.

Step 5: Using the information from the ServiceNow ticket, identify the retro trigger that needs to be cancelled.
Step 6: Update the Trigger Status from Unprocessed to Cancelled.

Step 7: Click Save.
Step 8: Update the ServiceNow ticket to show that the Retro Trigger has been canceled, then resolve the ticket.
Step 9: Re-initiate the Calendar.
