Complete a Self Evaluation (Employee)

Overview

This job aid shows employees how to complete their self-evaluation as part of the ePerformance annual review.

Background

The Self Evaluation phase is intended for the employee to re-review goals/professional development and to self-evaluate so the manager can review this information prior to completing the annual manager-initiated evaluation document.

Open the evaluation

Step 1: On the Employee Self Service page, click the Performance tile.

Step 2: Click My Current Documents.

Step 3: Click the Annual Evaluation.

Step 4: Click Update and Complete under Complete Self Evaluation.

Review goals

Use this procedure to complete the Goals section.

The Goals tab is open by default.

Step 1: Expand a goal to review the goal.

Step 2: Review the goal.

Step 3: Enter comments in the comments field.

Step 4: Enter comments into the Goals Summary field.

Use this procedure to complete the Self Evaluation section.

Use this procedure to complete the Professional Development section.

Step 1: Click the Prof Development tab.

Overall Summary

Use this procedure to complete the Summary section. The overall summary tab is a space available for comments that they would like your manager to see and review for your evaluation period.

Step 1: Click the Summary tab.

Add attachments

You can add attachments that you believe your manager should review. This section is located at the bottom of the page. Some examples of attachments you may want to include are diplomas, certifications, project completion documents, and more.

Step 1: Click Add Attachment.

Step 2: Click Choose File, then click Upload.

Step 3: Enter a Description and then select the Attachment Audience.

Save and complete

Step 1: Click Save.

Step 3: Click Confirm.

The Complete Self Evaluation task is complete.
