Valid Value Rule(s):

Default is blank. However, PPT generation error if this field is blank. If Empl Class selected is not Regular, Expected Job End Date is required.
This field, in combination with Action/Reason, may determine the PIMS Transaction Code on the PPT. (e.g. Rehired Annuitants)

Value	Description
Actg Appt	Regular employee in a temporary assignment
Emer Hire	Emergency appointment up to 60/90 days
FERP	Faculty Early Retirement Program participant
Immed Pay	PIMS "A54" appointment ("on-off")
Immed Pay/Rehired	Rehired Annuitants (CalPERS retiree)
Interim Appt	Position is vacant, and the employee is serving until the position is filled
Intermit	Hourly appointment (excludes Emergency)
PreRet Fac	Pre-retirement Reduction in time-base participant
Regular	Appointment with no Expected Job End Date
Reh Annuit	Rehired CalPERS retiree
Student	Student job codes, excluding Teaching Associates
Temp	Appointment with Expected End Date, excluding all other Empl Classes
Temp 3 Yr.	Temp faculty appointment with 12.12 entitlement
Temp 3 Yr./Reh Annuit	Rehired Annuitant who has achieved 12.12 entitlement with Empl Class = Temp 3 Yr.
