Add Relationship Button

This button performs the following functions:   
-Creates the selected Organizational Relationship
-Saves the Personal Data in the Add a Person module 
-Generates an Emplid
-Proceeds to Job Data for Employee Organizational Relationship types
Field CharacteristicDescription
Valid Value Rules:
  • You can only select one relationship when creating the Personal Data record, but can create additional relationships directly from the modules, ‘New Employment Instance’ (for example, Student to Employee) or ‘Add a POI Type’.
  • If you create a person but do not create and save a job data record or POI type record, PS will save the person as a POI Type of ‘Unknown’.  When you do create and save a record for the person on the Add an Employment Instance module or Add a POI Instance module, the system will delete the Unknown POI without job instance for that person.
