Preferred Name is used for correspondence and for display on reports and self service pages. If no Preferred Name is displayed, Primary Name will be used.
CHRS is the system of record for preferred name for faculty, staff, and student workers.
Sync will occur from CHRS to CS only.
Student workers who update their preferred name in Campus Solutions will not have it updated in CHRS. They would need to update their preferred name in CHRS also.
