Override Position Data

Used to override data that defaults from Position Management based on the Position Number selected.
Field CharacteristicDescription
Valid Value Rule(s):
  • Pooled positions:  Would be used if Grade, FTE, Salary Admin Plan are changed.
  • Non-pooled positions: any temporary change to a job that is not due to funding (Ex: change in FTE due to leave).

Impacted Fields:

Allows you to change the following fields: 

  • Position Entry Date, Regulatory Region, Company, Business Unit, Department, Department Entry Date, Location, Job Code, Entry Date, Supervisor Level, Reports To, Regular/Temporary, Full/Part, FTE/Standard Hours, Regular Shift, Salary Grade, Classified Indc, Work Period, Union Code. 
  • Use when an employee is assigned temporarily to the same Position Number as another employee who is on leave or separated, and the replacement employee has different position attributes than the Position Number used.
Impacted Processes:Position and Job are no longer in sync.
