Time Period ID

The system uses time periods to differentiate between reported time that falls within the current period and time that falls within a prior period.

Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Complex Time Periods:

This field associates a time reporter to a specific period of time for time collection purposes.
When entering time via self service, a time reporter can choose to enter time by week or by this Time Period ID.
If no value is specified here, the Time Period ID from the assigned Workgroup will be used.
Note: The only day-type periods you can enter on the Workgroup and Maintain Time Reporter Data page are those with offset days = 1.

Complex Time Period:

Use this page for periods that cannot be defined by other period definitions.
Use the fields on this page to enter a start and end date for the time period
Complex periods are not created through the standard calendar build process; instead, they are created manually when you define the period on this page.
