An ITIN, or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, is a tax processing number only available for certain nonresident and resident aliens, their spouses, and dependents who cannot get a Social Security Number (SSN). It is a 9-digit number, beginning with the number "9", formatted like an SSN (NNN-NN-NNNN).

Social Security Number cannot begin with 000 or 666. (1000,473)

Warning when Adding a Person and National ID was not entered.  Okay to ignore.  Warning -- Social Security Number should be entered for US Employees. (1000,835)
Social Security Numbers are now required for all persons employed in the United States regardless of citizenship status. You must track this information and should require that it be provided by Employees when they are Hired.

There are specific restrictions for formatting Social Security Number. Reenter the Social Security Number without using 000 or 666.
