| Primary Job Indicator in PeopleSoft Workforce Administration is used to flag an employment instance and identify an appointment as the primary job for an employee. The Job Indicator field is set to ‘Primary Job’ when an employee is first entered into the system. Primary Job indicator will be reset if necessary during a nightly process. This will ensure that only one job is set to Primary. When a Primary job is terminated, another will take its place during the nightly process. This is different than the 'Primary Job' found in benefits. |

Longevity: Lowest Empl Record -Recruiting: The Primary Job field is crucial for the creating of user accounts in CHRS Recruiting. -All employees are required to have a Primary Job, which is set to ‘Primary Job’ when an employee is first entered into the system. Any concurrent job entered into in the system inserts 'Secondary Job’ into the Job Indicator field. CHRS will have a nightly process to consistently set Primary and Secondary Job flags for employees with non-volunteer job rows for each Business Unit. Each Business Unit will be assigned a Primary Job. -Multiple BU - If an employee works at two separate Business Units, they will have two Primary Job – one at each BU. | ||||||||||||
