Securing Data: Refresh Security Join Tables

This job aid is part of the Securing Data Workflow.

Security Join Tables automatically refresh nightly. If you must provide same-day access, use the following procedures to manually refresh the security join tables.

Step 1: Click the Navbar button.

Step 2: Navigate to Menu > Set Up HCM > Security > Core Row Level Security > Refresh SJT_CLASS_ALL

Step 3: Enter a Run Control ID

Step 4: Run the refresh process:

  1. Clear Refresh all rows.
  2. Select Refresh Set: Specific Tree
  3. Select your campus set ID

Step 5: Click Run.

Run button

Step 6: On the Process Scheduler Request, click OK.

Step 7: Use Process Monitor to check the progress.

Step 8: Navigate to Menu > Set Up HCM > Security > Core Row Level Security > Refresh SJT_OPR_CLS

Step 9: In the Row Level Research area:

  1. Clear the Refresh All Rows check box.
  2. Select Oprid from the Set of Security to Refresh menu.
  3. Enter the User ID for the user that you are updating.

Step 10: Click Run.

Step 11: Click OK.

Step 12: Use the Process Monitor to check progress.

Step 13: Confirm that both processes ran successfully.
