This job aid shows security administrators how to use the Find Object Navigation page.

Find Object Navigation is a new feature delivered by PeopleSoft 9.2. You can use this page to find the navigation path to any other page or component in PeopleSoft 9.2. Not all users have access to this page.

Step 1: Navigate to Find Object Navigation.

• Menu > Enterprise Components > Find Object Navigation.

Step 2: Find object navigation:

1. Select the type of object you want to find (e.g. component or page)
2. Use the Lookup feature to get the exact object name.
3. Click Search.

• When you click the Search button, Component or Page Name field must include the exact name. Use the Lookup feature if you know only a partial name of the page or component.
• The Lookup feature includes Advanced Lookup. Advanced Lookup provides many more search features.

Step 3: Review the Navigation information.

• Optionally, click the URL to go directly to the page, if available.
• Some pages or components can have multiple navigation options.
