This job aid shows campus users how to request a non-production CHRS database connection to a CFS database.

Request a non-production CHRS environment connection to a CFS database

Step 1: Identify the CHRS Production Support Database and CFS non-production instances that will be used for testing.

Step 2: Submit a ServiceNow ticket to CFS requesting to have CFS Database connected to a CHRS Production Support Database.

  • Type: Request
  • Category: CMS-CFS
  • Subcategory: Integration Broker
  • Ticket Short Description: Indicate that your campus needs to have CFS connected to a  CHRS Production Support Database (example: Request for FCFSPRE to HACHRPSA )
  • Description: Include the following information:
    • CFS Database Name
    • CHRS Database Name
    • Reason for Request

Step 3:  Wait for confirmation that database has been setup.

Step 4:  Submit a ServiceNow ticket to CHRS requesting to have CHRS Production Support Database connected to a CFS Database.

  • Category: CMS-CHRS
  • Subcategory: Integration
  • Ticket Short Description: Indicate that your campus needs to have CHRS Production Support Database connected to a  CFS connected (example: Request for HACHRPSA to FCFSPRE )
  • Description:
    • CFS Database Name

    • Reason for Request
