This job aid shows production campus users how to use the CHRS Crosswalk Table on the Campus Solutions side.
Background
- Campus Solutions delivers this mapping table that links the CHRS ID to the Campus Solutions Employee ID.
- Campus Solutions views employee Job Data via a mapping between the CS Employee ID and CHRS ID, stored in the CSU_CHRS_XREF table. Each campus system includes only its own employees, and joins to this table to prevent access to other campuses' data. Since employees can work at multiple campuses, Business Unit was added to the views to restrict job visibility accordingly.
Campuses must create their own security role on the CS Side to view the CHRS Crosswalk Table.
Review the Crosswalk table in CS
Step 1: In Campus Solutions navigate to Menu > CSU SA Baseline > CSU Campus Community > CHRS Cross Reference
Step 2: Enter an ID
- Enter CHRS ID to locate the CS ID
- Enter CS ID to locate the CHRS ID
Step 3: Click search.
Step 4: Review results.
