Overview
- This job aid shows you how to set up outbound files from PeopleSoft 9.2 to PageUp.
- Outbound files provide PageUp with information about employees.
- Employees can sign in to PageUp and perform recruiting tasks, such as recruiting and search committee approval.
- You set up a recurring process to ensure that new employees are added to PageUp daily.
Configure outbound files
1. Navigate to CSU Recruiting Outbound.
- Menu > Recruiting > CSU Recruiting Process > CSU Recruiting Outbound Prcs > CSU Recruiting Outbound
2. Search for your Run Control ID.
- If you do not have a Run Control ID, click Add a New Value to create one.

3. Select your campus.

4. Select the files:
- Use the Lookup to add the file to the list.
- Click the Plus button to add another row.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT add the PayFile.

5. Confirm that the following files are entered:
- Hierarchy File
- Position File
- Team File
- User File
- User All Team File

6. Click on Save
7. Click Run.
- The process Scheduler Request opens
8. On the Process Scheduler Request page, set the Recurrence to Pageup_OB.

9. Click Reset to Current date.
- The run Date field updates to the current date.

10. Click OK.
- The process runs and will continue to run on a scheduled interval.
11. Open Process Monitor.

12. Confirm that the CSU_92_RS_OB process has a recurrence icon.

Check for Errors
If you set up recurrence, the process runs nightly. However, you need to ensure that the process ran smoothly by checking the error log.
1. Navigate to Report Manager
- Menu > Reporting Tools > Report Manager
- Alternate navigation: If you are still on the CSU Recruiting Outbound page, click Process Monitor link.
2. Click the CSU_92_RS_OB process.

3. Verify that the process ran successfully.

4. Click Message Log.

5. Review the message log.
