Employee Enter ADO

Overview

This job aid shows employees how to record Additional Days Off (ADO).

  • ADO is additional day off earned.
  • ADOT is additional day off taken.

Enter ADO/ADOT

Enter ADO and ADOT on the same page where you enter your time.

Step 1: If you have multiple homepages, select the Employee Self Service Homepage.

Step 2: Click the CSU Time tile.

  • CSU Time opens.

Step 3: From CSU Time, confirm that you are on the Enter Time page.

  • The Enter Time page is opened by default when you open CSU Time.

Step 4: If necessary, navigate to the appropriate pay period.

  • Use the arrows to navigate the pay periods.

Step 5: Use the arrows to navigate to the appropriate week within the pay period.

Step 6: Click the plus button to add a row, if needed. You might need to scroll to the right to find the Plus button.

  • If you have regular hours worked on the first row, add a row to enter ADO or ADOT.

Step 7: Select the time reporting code for that row.

  1. Click Select.
  2. Select the applicable time reporting code.

Time Reporting Codes:

  • ADO: Additional day off earned
  • ADOT: Additional day off taken
  • AEADJ = ADO Earned Adjustment

Step 8: Enter the number of days taken or earned.

  • If the Time Reporting Code is ADO or ADOT, enter a “1” to indicate that a single day was earned or taken.
  • Press the tab key after you input the number. The system adds the decimals.

Remember: for ADO and ADOT, enter the number of DAYS, not HOURS.

In this example, the employee entered regular hours on row one, Additional Day off earned on row two, and Additional Day Off Taken on row three.

Step 9: Optional: Click the Comment button to add a comment.

Step 10: Click Submit.

Step 11: Click OK on the confirmation message.
