Absence Management Configuration Guide

Absence Management is used to report and track an employees’ sick days, vacation time, personal holidays, bereavement, and other leaves throughout the month. In HR 9.0, Absence Management was a custom and complex module utilized by 23 campuses in separate databases. However, the CHRS project will consolidate all 23 campuses into one database and be utilizing Peoplesoft baseline delivered Absence Management functionality. Although the Absence Module for CHRS utilizes delivered functionality, some of the setup tables do have standardized naming conventions, values, and requirements. This document will guide campus users, CMS Operations, and CMS through required setup tables for Absence Management.
